Bantam Plug

The Bantam Plug, also known as TT (Tiny Telephone, is a miniature professional audio plug, used almost exclusively in high-density patchbays.

Think of the Bantam as a compact and robust version of the professional Type B (PO316) plug. Its compact size allows hundreds of balanced connection points to be installed in a standard 19-inch patchbay, which would be impossible with larger plugs like 1/4" or XLR. Because of its durability and space-saving design, the Bantam has become the standard for patchbays in recording studios, post-production facilities, and broadcast installations, where the flexibility to route many audio signals quickly and reliably is essential.
