Conductor
A Conductor is a material that offers low resistance to the passage of electric current.
Think of electricity like car traffic.
A conductor is like a wide, unobstructed avenue, allowing electric current to flow through it with extreme ease. Materials such as copper, aluminum, and silver are excellent conductors and are therefore used to manufacture wires and printed circuit board traces in audio cables and electronic equipment. It is the opposite of an insulator (such as rubber or plastic), which would be like a wall, almost completely blocking the flow of electricity.bottom of page
