Convolution
Convolution is a mathematical process that "prints" the sonic characteristics of one audio recording onto another.
It takes two signals:
The Original Audio: The sound you want to process (e.g., a "dry" voice).
The Impulse Response (Impulse Response - IR): A recording that captures the characteristics of a space or equipment (e.g., the sound of a cathedral's reverberation).
The convolution process "multiplies" the original audio by the impulse response.
